I help clients rebuild body–mind connection so insight translates into real change. I work with:
- Creatives seeking support to overcome blocks,
- LGBTQIA+ individuals forging identity on their own terms,
- Men who value kind honesty,
- Women in their second act who are ready to embrace their true selves,
- Multicultural adults navigating CPTSD, life transitions, and relational patterns,
- Neurodivergent individuals who long to feel free inside and out.
Whether you’re 18+ figuring out who you are, or 50+ reclaiming your essence, we all need to be witnessed and accompanied with heart.
Together, we move beyond mere survival—loosening people-pleasing, self-sabotage, and tolerating harm—toward grounded self-advocacy, creativity, and healthier connections.
I work with individuals, couples, and families seeking support for:
- Complex PTSD (C-PTSD)
- Chronic illness support and pain
- Anxiety and depression
- Neurodiversity challenges (e.g., ADHD)
- Identity (LGBTQIA+ and multicultural), life transitions, and relationship issues
- Creative support for overcoming blocks and performance concerns.
My approach integrates evidence-based psychotherapy with somatic awareness, movement practices, and individualized treatment planning. We aim to support sustainable change in emotional regulation, self-connection, and relational functioning.
In-person sessions are available at ActivSpace in Northwest Portland; Telehealth options are available throughout Oregon.

At Equipoise Integral Counseling, I provide trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming psychotherapy for adults navigating depression, identity concerns, chronic illness support, creativity blocks, and the aftermath of emotionally abusive relationships. While therapy outcomes vary and cannot be guaranteed, clients who engage consistently in this work often experience meaningful psychological and relational shifts.
LGBTQ+ Affirming Therapy
Clients who identify as gay, queer, or LGBTQ+ and have lived with concealment, internalized shame, or identity conflict often develop greater self-acceptance, emotional stability, and confidence in living openly. Many report a reduction in depressive symptoms and an increased capacity to enjoy their relationships and sense of self.
Therapy for Creatives and Artists
Writers, musicians, dancers, and other creatives, including neurodivergent individuals, often seek creative support when self-doubt, trauma, or perfectionism interferes with their artistic work. Through therapy, many clients report improved confidence, focus, and follow-through, supporting sustained engagement with projects such as books, music, or other forms of artistic expression.
Trauma Therapy & Recovery from Narcissistic Abuse
Clients with histories of emotionally abusive, coercive, or narcissistic relationships often develop clearer discernment, stronger boundaries, and increased self-trust. Over time, many are better able to disengage from harmful dynamics and make choices aligned with their wellbeing. Additionally, somatic therapy techniques can be integrated to enhance the recovery process.
This work is depth-oriented and relational, emphasizing clarity, nervous system regulation, and accurate perception of self and others. Therapy is collaborative and paced, with attention to both psychological insight and embodied experience.
